Primary Responsibility: The Production Manager is accountable for carrying out an operational plan by effectively utilizing resources such as personnel, materials, and equipment to ensure the timely completion of orders and tasks. Additionally, they are responsible for optimizing the resources mentioned above to assist the organization in meeting its financial obligations.

The Production Manager needs to act as a "change agent" and continuously search for ways to improve processes and resource utilization, using problem-solving techniques and lean manufacturing methodology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee personnel to ensure the highest level of safety standards, actively participating in the site's safety committee.
• Quality: Resolving customer complaints using root-cause analysis to identify effective solutions. Ensure manufacturing processes meet or exceed quality standards outlined in drawings and blueprints.
• On-Time Delivery: Identify manufacturing trends and collaborate with other departments to meet expected deadlines.
• Manage personnel workload allocation for stock, made-to-order components, customer-level, and repair orders. Adjusts personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions.
• Manages labor time and production records systems through Kronos (UKG) and ERP systems.
• Communicates with 3rd party vendors to maintain facility and operational efficiency.
• Plan material flow and machine layout according to work orders to maximize productivity.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment performance. Coordinates execution of the TPM program.
• Maintains department morale and develops team members’ skills and abilities.
• Effectively resolves team conflicts and, in partnership with HR, manages employee performance.
• Oversees the material cycle count program to maintain accurate inventory levels according to the ERP system.
• Builds and maintains accurate process documents for multiple departments to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar field, or 5 years Operations experience equivalent preferred
• 3-5 years' experience leading operations teams required
• ERP utilization system experience (Epicor is a plus)
• Skilled to read and interpret technical documents
• Familiarized with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Familiar with general manufacturing concepts (Lean Principles, 5S, Six Sigma)
• Ability to create and analyze datasets that can be complex in nature

• Ability to evaluate cost/benefit relationships as they relate to design and customer ROI

Physical Requirements

• On-Site position located in Oklahoma City, OK
• Sit/stand/walk 8-10 hours a day: The ability to work overtime if needed
• The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment (if entering designated manufacturing areas)- safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Estimated 5% travel (Mostly Domestic)
