Mativ Holdings Career Site is Hiring a Remote IT Program Manager

Description

Mativ has an exciting opportunity for an Information Technology Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery / Incident Response Program Manager at our headquarters location in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Lead is a key part of our Information Technology and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams. This position is full-time, permanent, and salaried with standard work hours, has third party supervisory duties, and requires very little travel. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.

Responsibilities

The Information Technology Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery / Incident Response Program Manager will function as the owner for the coordination of the business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response programs across the company. They will work within the IT team to mature the current programs, such as consolidation of documentation across the merged companies, execute surveys to identify business critical systems, processes, and third parties, and collaborate to produce business impact analyses on those business-critical items.

The Program Manager will also provide advice to business partners to effectively manage risk to the business and will provide reporting to leadership related to the BC/DR/IR programs to support business, cyber, data protection, and compliance requirements.

responsibilities:

  • Provides the oversight for the execution of the business continuity exercises & testing, review results and manage remediation of any observed weaknesses.
  • Assists Crisis Management teams during services disruption crisis events and the identification of lessons learned and oversee any needed improvements.
  • Drives the socialization, adoption, consistency, appropriate implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the business continuity risk management framework, as well as business continuity program policies, standards, methods, etc.
  • Trains supporting staff in the standards and processes needed to support the BC/DR/IR Program.
  • Leads organizational participation in annual BIA assessments and objective and strategy setting initiatives.
  • Supports team goals to develop new tools and processes that manage risk across Mativ.
  • Works on continuous improvement programs to standardize and automate controls across the GRC team, IT, and ultimately the enterprise.
  • Collaborates with Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and Legal/Compliance teams.

Education/Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT related field OR equivalent professional experience working in IT (2-5 years)
  • 5 years of experience in the Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery / Incident Response field
  • 5 years of Project management experience for strategic initiatives
  • Working knowledge of CIS or NIST control framework and requirements

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work within deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, design project plans, and provide project updates.
  • Ability to work independently with little direction and/or supervision.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to ask questions, escalate roadblocks early, and interact effectively at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to correct on the fly and work independently.
  • Analytical aptitude with an emphasis on investigative, methodical critical questioning and logical thinking; a data-driven decision maker.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with collaboration technology platforms (i.e. Cisco WebEx, Teams etc.).
  • Strong analysis, conceptual, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Interest and curiosity to learn new tools and technologies
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to travel for projects based on request.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with effective organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
