Description

• Open to all Airmen (officers & enlisted)
• 180 days of service in the Armed Forces
• Complete the Transition Assistance Program (TAP)
• Anticipate Honorable or Under Honorable Conditions Discharge
• May not be serving in Voluntary Limited Period of Active Duty (VLPAD) IAW AFI36-2008
• Must be within 180 days from Retirement/Separation date to begin the SkillBridge PTDY
• Approval authority of first field grade commander with UCMJ authority in the SKB Participant’s chain of command
• Eligible for only one (1) SkillBridge PTDY during transition period
• Payment for per diem or travel expenses is not authorized
• May not receive any form of financial compensation from the SKB provider for participation in any internship or training program (prior to Terminal Leave)
