Masis Staffing is Hiring an Industrial Maintenance Manager Near Roscoe, IL

  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, schedules, and protocols to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and machinery.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and potential issues.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
  • Coordinate with production managers and other departments to schedule maintenance activities in alignment with production schedules and operational requirements.
  • Procure and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvements, upgrades, or modifications to enhance performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all maintenance activities, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and expenses, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, repairs, and expenditures, and generate reports as needed for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of maintenance technicians.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, techniques, and methodologies, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Familiarity with plastic fabrication processes and equipment is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
