Martin Environmental Services is Hiring a Customer Service Representative Near Dothan, AL

Customer Service is what we do! This position receives and responds to customer calls regarding service requests and/or issues and inputs information into a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all tasks in a safe manner and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Receive incoming calls from customers, routes manager and sales departments, and handle each with appropriate communication and action.
  • Provide customer service to call-in customers.
  • Dispatch Service calls as needed.
  • Answer and disperse departmental phone calls.
  • Log and record information onto customer accounts
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with all employees, co-workers, and management.
  • Assist Administrative Assistant in various needed areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Must be computer literate (ability to utilize email, Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, Type in a quick manner).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, this includes talking on the phone to customers, typing and utilizing soft-ware tools provided at the same time.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and training.
  • Minimum one year experience in office environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment

  • Office environment.
  • Prolonged sitting and repetitive motions performed answering phone and working on computer.
