Marsh & McLennan Shared Services LLC is seeking candidates for the following position based in the New York, NY office (Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with company policy.): Senior Applications Developer We will count on you to: Oversee the entire life cycle of a software application, creating the design, coding, and testing products for functionality and errors while ensuring user needs, performance requirements, and security standards are met. Handle application development using various software technologies. Write programs according to specifications from technical design team. Integrate technical components into respective working applications. Participate in technical design and review. Create and perform quality and system tests, ensure code quality, and perform system analysis. Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and develop specifications to resolve them. Resolve issues and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements. Communicate with members of the IT team on a regular basis and serve as point of contact. Review code and create and maintain documents as part of the solutions delivery process. What you need to have: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Developer, Junior Software Developer, or in a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or a related field, and one (1) year of experience in the job offered, as a Software Developer, Junior Software Developer, or in a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience (or one (1) year in the alternative with a Master's) must include: Programming utilizing Java Script, React.js framework, HTML 5.0, Python, and C#. Working with Relational and NoSQL databases. Utilizing Application Programming Interfaces (API) including FastAPI or OpenAPI and working with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) concepts. Working with Azure Cloud components and creating Resources and Resource Groups, Key Vault usage and deployment and Azure DevOps and Azure Cognitive services. Utilizing Kubernetes for automating deployment. Travel requirement: 10% domestic and/or international travel required based on project implementation. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
