Marlin Design Build, Inc. is Hiring a Project Manager Near Raleigh, NC

Marlin Design Build is an established Commercial General Contractor based out of Raleigh, North Carolina seeking an experienced project manager for project planning, coordination and implementation. We specialize in our attention to detail and impeccable turnaround time of projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a commercial construction background to join an ever-growing company dedicated to quality and client satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual possessing a highly professional attitude, strong work ethic, and capable of problem solving and multi-tasking. As a company representative, this position is key in building good standing and positive public credibility with clients, subcontractors and the greater community.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review/analyze drawings, specifications & bid requirements to provide complete construction estimates, bids and budgets by deadlines.
  • Creation of project management timelines.
  • Solicit and maintain communication with subcontractors and vendors to ensure awareness of and commitment to project schedules.
  • Management and support of field personnel.
  • Candidates should meet the following minimum skills, experience, motivation and attitude requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specifications.
  • Ability and knowledge to step in for field superintendent when required.
  • Keen attention to detail, organization and effective time management skills.
  • Professional conduct and the skills to resolve conflict, work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing conditions with the goal of satisfying immediate customer needs.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer skills – Proficient Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
