Description:

Markon Solutions is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to support our government customer to manage contract execution for technology-focused acquisitions dealing with software development Enterprise platform support. This is an exciting position working closely with our government customer on cutting edge technology playing a vital role in the success of mission objectives.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in business or computer science or information systems or similar field
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile (SAFe, PMI-ACP, or other), or technical certifications
• 10 year’s experience / a demonstrated familiarity with project management
• Familiarity and understanding of software development tools, Enterprise DOD methods, and scalable platform architectures
• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite
• Effective communication skills for verbal and written communication to government leadership
• Ability to consult government customers on a wide range of topics, both technical and programmatic
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Ability to work on site in Chantilly, VA

Security Clearance Requirements: Must currently hold a Top Secret (TS) security clearance for Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI Poly).

Travel Requirements: This position has 0% travel, will be asked to travel between 2 locations in Chantilly, VA. Opportunity to work remotely part time.

• Ability to manage large, complex technical environments and advocate for users
• Background in technology: cloud architectures, software development, Agile methods, etc.
• A self-starter who effectively manages their work-load and is willing to embark on new, uncharted territory and think creatively
• Understanding of government acquisition processes and ability to manage contracts for government customers
