NS2 Mission is actively seeking a highly motivated, self directed Technical Project Manager to support our team in Chantilly, VA.

Functional Responsibilities:

The Technical Project Manager will support a large program with multiple project teams. The Technical PM will work with the Program Manager to oversee the project teams and provide guidance on the technical direction of the program. The Technical PM will also work with the customer’s Technical Directors and the customer’s architecture team to ensure the project teams are working effectively towards the customer’s technical objectives.

Required skills:

• Demonstrated experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, project teams, and/or enterprise teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Demonstrated experience providing systems architecture and engineering guidance to project teams and the customer.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
• Must possess the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Must have strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, customers, and management.
• Organizational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish.
• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully.

Education & Training:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related technical background preferred
• Experience leading, coaching and developing technical teams
• Comfortable in a highly competitive, collaborative and fast-paced work environment

Position Clearance Requirement:
TS/SCI with polygraph
