Mansfield Service Partners is seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Operations to lead our Colorado-based business, overseeing a dynamic team and shaping the future of our operations. The office is located in Aurora, Colorado. The Director of Sales and Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the sales and operational functions of our transportation and logistics business across the Colorado region. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving sales, managing operational efficiency, and fostering a high-performing team. This role is responsible for the entire business from sales to operational execution and P&L responsibility.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Team Management

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering a positive work culture and driving innovation.
  • Implement training, performance, and talent management programs for continual growth.
  • Establish a cadence to track team performance, set goals, and ensure consistency in execution.

Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and mentor the sales team for success.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships, understanding evolving client needs for sustainable growth.

Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day transportation and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and optimize supply chain management.
  • Focus on maintaining a safe working environment and optimizing fleet performance.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Take P&L level accountability for sales growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in sales & operations and supply chain in the oil and gas distribution industry.
  • Five (5) or more years of leadership/management experience.
  • Strong understanding of DOT compliance and FMCSA safety compliance required 
  • Strong technical ability with respect to operations and the management of logistics
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, operations, or supply chain preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
