The mission of the Housing Authority of the City of Aurora (AHA) is to develop and promote quality housing while supporting and encouraging economic opportunities leading to self-sufficiency and independence. AHA accomplishes this mission by providing affordable or subsidized housing at 15 different properties, administering approximately 1700 vouchers, and offering a variety of programs with case management.

Job DescriptionThe Senior Director of Property Operations is responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction for Aurora Housing Authority's portfolio of properties. This role ensures efficient and effective operations, including property management and maintenance, construction initiatives, financial oversight of the properties, employee, and resident relations, and monitoring of the market for long term planning and growth.
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
A minimum of 10 (ten) progressive years in a leadership role with experience managing medium to large properties including oversight of maintenance functions.
Must have extensive experience and knowledge of laws and regulations that pertain to affordable housing and construction management.
Conditions of employment:
Valid Colorado Driver License and proof of Insurance due to the need to travel amongst various local properties.
