Manifestations School for Innovation & Learning is Hiring an Elementary School Teacher Near Tampa, FL

We are seeking a full-time Microschool Teacher to support learning to join us for the 2024-2025 school year.

We are looking for a teacher to lead a small group of students in grades 3-4 or 5 within the microschool.

The teacher will have the rich opportunity to educate in a unique, progressive microschool setting. The mission of our company is to support each child's creative, academic, and emotional potential by providing an inspired, highly-personalized, diverse learning experience in a home-based, setting. This opportunity would be ideal for a teacher seeking an opportunity to be at the forefront of an educational movement, developing and implementing a rigorous and meaningful curriculum.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum three years experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to achieve strong social emotional and academic results using a social constructivist approach to learning
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills in differentiating curriculum and instruction for varied abilities and ages

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about 'whole-child' development and fostering a community of learning
  • Experience with curriculum development and designing, socratic method, and project work
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, small school environment
  • Committed to reflection and life-long learning
  • Curious about improving teaching practices through discovery and co-researching with children
  • Capable of taking initiative, experimentation, and responsive and thoughtful action to dynamic situations
  • Comfortable partnering closely with parents who care deeply about their children's growth
  • Able to articulate oneself clearly and professionally in both written and verbal communication

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
