The Quality Manager is responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise that is focused on the relentless pursuit of achieving and maintaining product quality. This leadership is characterized by a professional, passionate and persevering approach to the implementation and use of Quality and Process Control methods in support of the manufacturing business plans.
Knowledge, Education, and Experience: Minimum of a four (4) year, Bachelor of Science(BS); major in chemistry, engineering or statistics is a plus, and a minimum of five (5) years' experience in managing the quality function in a high speed, continuous or multi-lane processes with demonstrable bottom line results is recommended. ASQ certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ASQ certification as a Certified Manager of Quality /Operational Excellence (CMQ/OE) is a plus. Experience tracking, identifying and implementing applicable code compliance requirements with a strong proven background in applied basic and advanced statistics is preferred. Experience with implementing strategies that enable parties with different or opposing outlooks to recognize common goals and work together to achieve them.
