American Gaming Systems is Hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist (FT) Near Oklahoma, OK

Job Overview:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for verifying that incoming inventory, as well as assembled products on the production floor, adhere to all specifications and quality standards. They will utilize engineering drawings and quality documents to ensure inventory and final products meet the highest quality standards as required. In addition, they will assist the Quality Manager in maintaining quality metrics such as First Pass Yield, Post Install Reporting, and Vendor Return practices. They will utilize Lean methodologies to evaluate production processes and identify opportunities for improving quality through waste reduction. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with production personnel to address quality concerns as they arise during production, with a hands-on approach to identify methods to prevent recurring quality issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Production team to identify and correct potential quality problems.
  • Identify ways to reduce the potential for recurring issues during production.
  • Evaluate, track, and maintain production quality metrics such as First Pass Yield.
  • Assist in the creation and manage inspection methods for incoming products from suppliers.
  • Administer the Return Merchandise Authorization process to ensure expediency of returns.
  • Instruct and Train production to any changes made in the quality program.
  • Audit production processes for adherence to Standard Work.
  • Any other duties as requested to support production.

Skills/Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working with sheet metal, electronics, and assembly processes preferred.
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, the assistance provided as needed.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Quality and Operations preferred.
  • Lean manufacturing training or experience preferred.
