Makan, an upscale casual Malaysian restaurant downtown, is seeking server assistants/food runners/bussers to be part of our opening team.
Come work with and learn from chef James Wozniuk, a 3-time Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded chef, in a fun and supportive work environment.
We are seeking individuals with a great attitude, high energy, and a strong work ethic.
Start date is June 6th; opening date is June 14th.
Sundays & Mondays off. No lunches, no brunches. Closed Thanksgiving and Dec. 24th-27th annually.
Responsibilities:
- Provide genuine hospitality and service to guests
- Maintain menu knowledge, general standards, and teamwork
- Food and drink running, bussing tables, barback duties
Benefits & Compensation:
- 50% dining discount for friends & family
- SA $100-150/night ($2.13/hour plus tips)
