Maine Veterinary Medical Center is Hiring a Part-Time Veterinary Client Care Specialist Near Scarborough, ME

If so, join our innovative and collaborative team as a Client Care Specialist for Maine Veterinary Medical Center in Scarborough, Maine!

The Client Care Specialist follows and enforces established procedures to ensure that our clients receive efficient and courteous service, including researching and resolving client issues. They are the first point of contact for the hospital and provide a supportive and engaged interaction for our clients at all stages of their visit.

We are looking to hire one part-time candidate for this role; availability for Friday and Saturday shifts is required with additional coverage shifts through the week available. Excellent opportunity to work with a friendly and collaborative team, in a 20,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility in a fabulous location.

This position is eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they arrive, and act as the main contact point for the hospital.
  • Provide day-to-day client services of the front office and support staff throughout the office.
  • Answer a busy multi-line phone system and transfer calls to relevant departments.
  • Schedule and manage appointments for the hospital.
  • Resolve informal client issues as well as maintaining and reporting on these issues to the Client Services Supervisor.
  • Make decisions on behalf of the department, utilizing good judgment, in the best interest of the hospital and the clients.
  • Maintenance of reporting tools and queries needed to manage the business, including email, inter-hospital communications and practice management software.
  • Responsible for inventory of supplies and informing Client Services Supervisor when supplies are needed.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service: prior veterinary experience desired but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong client relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong technical and computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Strong client service background.
  • Friendly, Professional and Compassionate!

The pay rate for this role is $19-23/hour depending on experience!
