Position Summary:

A busy Upper East Side family would like to hire a professional Housekeeper with substantive experience working in a private residence to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

Work alongside the current Housekeeper in the general and specialty cleaning of the home, including care of specialty materials and surfaces. Follow daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules.

Provided thoughtful care for the principals' clothing and wardrobes including laundry, steaming, etc.

This professional will also assist with provisioning the home, cooking simple meals, running errands, and providing care for one small friendly dog.

Qualifications:

The right person is kind, has a cheerful demeanor, and enjoys their work. Must have prior experience working as a housekeeper in a fine home for a private employer with verifiable references.

Excellent hands-on cleaning and laundry skills required. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term opportunity.

Schedule:

Generally, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility for an occasional evening or weekend.

Compensation:

Compensation of $40-50/hour offered, depending on experience. This is a year-round position as an employee on the principals' payroll. Comfortable uniform provided.
