As a Restaurant Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and organized environment within our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen spaces, meet high cleanliness and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, tables, chairs, and other furniture in dining and common areas.
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained throughout the shift.
Restocking Supplies:
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Keep track of inventory for cleaning materials and notify management when supplies are low.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with kitchen and serving staff to ensure seamless communication and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Assist with special cleaning tasks or projects as assigned by management.
Attention to Detail:
- Pay close attention to detail when cleaning and arranging tables, ensuring a welcoming and neat atmosphere for guests.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
