Magnum First is Hiring a Technical Sales Representative Near Grand Island, NY

Magnum First is a wireless controls manufacturer and buildings solutions company, with energy saving components for lighting and HVAC as well as Indoor Air Quality sensing.

We're looking for a high-energy sales rep and sales manager who can help us grow, using consultative selling skills to strengthen customer relationships, build the sales pipeline, drive revenue growth, and develop new business. We have a proven, accepted products, a complete infrastructure, and years of experience. We will train you on the product and best sales practices in this market.

This position qualifies leads through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, creates contracts, manages on-site training, and provides on-going technical support. The Technical Sales Representative is part of a high-performing, results-driven sales team that collaborates with technical service, marketing, customer service, shipping, and manufacturing to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions:

  • Contact, develop, and manage new and existing customers to build a sales pipeline and drive revenue in assigned territory.
  • Qualify leads from CRM and develop them into opportunities and ultimately closing sales to achieve monthly quarterly, and annual quotas.
  • Develop rapport, evaluate the customer's needs, and determine which Magnum First products are the appropriate solution.
  • Implement a sales plan, including accurate business forecasts and tracking metrics to increase sales productivity.
  • Create and conduct technical presentations, including webinars, videos, and in-person demonstrations of instrument hardware and software color management products.
  • Identify other products or company services that satisfy additional, complementary customers’ needs that are unfulfilled by their original purchase; expose the customer to other options that were perhaps not considered through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
  • Answer email and telephone inquiries; Complete accurate documentation utilizing the established company digital tools and software (CRM) required for each sales call or email.
  • Collaborate with technical service, customer service, shipping, and manufacturing to ensure a seamless customer service experience.

Required Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant outside sales experience.
  • MS Office/PC skills required.
  • Basic IP knowledge
  • Mechanically inclined with tools and components
  • Must be able to come in to office on Grand Island. This is not a remote working position.

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Commission pay· Customer Relationship Management (CRM), ERP, and Call Desk documenting system highly preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
