Hospitality

Teamwork

  • Supports table service of teammates in neighboring sections (water refills, pre-bussing, table maintenance, re-marking, step gaps, etc.)

  • Provides and receives feedback to and from teammates and leadership team in a positive, professional manner

  • Product Knowledge
  • Concept specific knowledge/testing
  • Food menu knowledge/testing

Technical Proficiency

  • Deliver food with proper description (no auctioning, allergy and modification awareness)
  • Dining/food service steps (greet time, check times, beverage napkins, marking, pre-bussing, beverage service, check ready)
  • Table and seat number knowledge (pivot points)
  • Efficiency (prioritization, pace, preparation, organization)
  • Proper dish etiquette (do not throw - gentle placement, shapes in shapes, stack, and separating)
  • Follows safety protocols (glass clean up, spill site)
  • Proficiency with opening, running and closing tasks. Examples include: clean surfaces, floor, equipment; stock : plates, spoons, knives, glassware, ToGo containers; fill beverage or ice dispensers; maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays; fill water pitchers; fill server station ice bins; keep expo line organized and clean; other tasks as directed
  • Communication to partner service team (servers, bartenders) and leadership (front-of-house and back-of-house)
  • Coordinate with expo and other Team Members on prioritization
  • Anticipate guest needs
  • POS expertise
  • Proper glassware handling
  • Display focus, accuracy, and a sense of urgency/speed when executing all assigned tasks
  • Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
  • Health code adherence

Core Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for a long period of time
