Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. We are a Soul food restaurant and serve meat and 2 sides plates. This role will be greeting and serving custmers and checking them out.

Duties:
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely fashion
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash register or Aloha POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness standards

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus
