Description

M.S. Rau is looking for a Sales Development Consultant to be part of the Sales team. This position is responsible for generating qualified leads using 3rd party data and WealthEngine to move leads through the sales pipeline with end goal of generating first time buyers and reinvigorating interest and sales from older buyers.

Who You Are:

You are competitive, have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn and a positive attitude. Using your expertise, you will perform the follow:

  • Majority of time spent searching for potential leads with outbound prospecting, which involves making cold calls and sending cold emails.
  • Research and qualify incoming new leads and input any key account information into Salesforce; determine if the prospect should move through the sales pipeline.
  • Pass qualified leads to a Sales Consultant to continue the sale and close the deal.
  • Work the sales floor qualifying customers based on agreed upon engagement questions and hand any potential buyers over to a Sales Consultant.
  • Assist with creating marketing and selling campaigns and emails within Salesforce.
  • Assist walk-in clients and conduct store tours as requested.
  • Research and thoroughly understand the key selling points for each inventory item.
  • Set up and break down store and show displays.
  • Update and maintain client and inventory databases.

Requirements

Other skills you will bring to M.S. Rau:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a high-end clientele environment 
  • Experience selling in a luxury line to high-net-worth individuals and corporations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Flexible: Willing to travel to meet with clients.

What We Offer:

Compensation and Hours

This is a full-time salaried position with very competitive annual compensation based on abilities and experience plus an annual sales-based bonus as well as the potential to earn quarterly and annual bonuses. The gallery is open Monday through Saturday. This position will work 5 days a week including Saturdays from 8:30 to 5:15. Evening work may be required for afterhours events.
