Job Overview:
LuxUrban Hotels is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources to join our team. As the VP of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Human Resources department and ensuring the effective management of our organization's most valuable asset - our people. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong background in HR management and a deep understanding of employment labor laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the overall business objectives
- Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Lead and supervise the HR team, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Ensure compliance with employment labor laws, including FMLA, OSHA, and workers' compensation
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement human capital management strategies
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the organization
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external vendors
- Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends and make informed decisions
- MUST have extensive experience with unions, union negotiations, and union employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR management roles
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
- Proven experience in negotiating contracts and agreements
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a diverse team
- Demonstrated experience in training development and implementation
- Proficient in HRIS systems and with HR vendors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and interpret data effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
