The Payroll and Benefits Administrator will take charge of implementing policies, programs, and procedures essential for advancing payroll and benefits initiatives. The successful candidate will navigate the intricacies of compensation and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees. This dynamic role demands financial acumen and the ability to foster positive relationships across all levels of the company.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the implementation and rollout of payroll policies and procedures, ensuring adherence and compliance.

· Oversee payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees, including data entry, reconciliation, and auditing.

· Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and performance-based incentives.

· Stay informed of evolving local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance.

· Develop and implement proactive strategies to optimize payroll processes and enhance employee benefits offerings.

· Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies, providing timely and accurate resolutions.

· Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure payroll accuracy.

· Establish and maintain organized and accurate payroll and benefits records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

· Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate payroll reporting and tax compliance.

Requirements:

· Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience to be considered in lieu of degree.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.

· Proficient in payroll processing, preferably with experience using ADP or similar payroll software.

· Experience administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.

· Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

· Ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with tact and professionalism, fostering positive relationships and promoting a culture of trust and respect.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
