About the Marketing and Communications Lead position
We are looking for a Marketing and Communications lead to engage externally with the public. The Marketing and Communications lead is responsible for branding the company, marketing the company's technology and supporting public relations efforts.
The responsibilities are:
- Mature the companies brand and branding strategy.
- Design and implement unique marketing strategies that are aligned with our business targets and corporate goals.
- Increase pubic knowledge of the company and our technologies.
- Support proposal and bid pursuits.
- Actively pursue public relations opportunities with the media, partners, customers, and other external stakeholders.
- Manage and upgrade the company's website and web presence.
- Produce contemporary ideas to promote our brand and our products.
- Address needs in branding, marketing and communications.
- Solidify consistency of brand through all marketing channels.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams in the interest of all-around brand consistency.
- Establish a strong web presence that is projected to be long term.
- Proven work experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Demonstrated ambition and drive in a professional or academic setting.
- Direct experience with marketing campaigns, branding and web technologies, including online tools and social media.
- BSc degree in Marketing, Communications, Art or relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe creativity and design software (Illustrator, photoshop, etc.)
- Strong communications skills.
- Background in website design and development.
- Working knowledge of top social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, & YouTube, and their ad platform (i.e Facebook Ads Manager).
