Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Project Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion. This is a leadership role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and progress
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Oversee the hiring and management of construction personnel
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Residential Construction Project Manager and has worked with custom homes.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera, ProCore, or HeavyBid
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional time management skills
