Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the child care center
- Develop and implement educational programs and activities for children
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children in the center
- Supervise and support child care staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Maintain open communication with parents, addressing any concerns or questions
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and therapists, to support children's development
- Monitor and maintain compliance with licensing regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a child care or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of child care staff
- Knowledge of licensing regulations and ability to ensure compliance
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
