Site Director – Before and After School and Summer Camp

When you join our team as a Site Director you will:

  • Lead and supervise a team of teachers to build unique and engaging classroom experiences, empower and inspire passionate and

committed professionals

  • Ensure your site is operating optimally; maintain licensing, safety, and educational standards
  • Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
  • Build positive relationships with families, teachers, school and district leaders, state licensing authorities, community contacts and

corporate partners

  • Lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day.
  • Ability to build relationships and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to acquire - WE cover costs!
  • 1 classroom instructing experience (preferred)
  • Meet state specific guidelines for the role (WE assist with this)

Champions is bringing a nationally accredited BefResponsibilities:

- Develop and implement educational programs and activities for children in the child care center.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Supervise and support child care staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Collaborate with parents and families to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions.
- Oversee the daily operations of the child care center, including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Plan and organize special events and activities for children and families.
- Monitor the progress and development of each child, providing feedback to parents and staff.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Familiarity with education administration processes and procedures.
