Seeking a dynamic and motivated Catering Sales Associate to join our team!

This is a hybrid role encompassing office work, client acquisition, and delivery responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and sales skills, has a strong attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Acquisition:

• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to generate new business and expand the client base through outbound sales efforts, networking events, and relationship-building activities.

• Conduct research to identify potential clients and market segments, and develop targeted sales strategies to engage them.

• Communicate effectively with prospective clients to understand their needs, provide information about our catering services, and generate interest in our offerings.

• Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to secure contracts and bookings, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability targets.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM software.

Office Work:

• Assist with administrative tasks such as responding to client inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating event details with other team members.

• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless execution of events, including menu planning, staffing arrangements, and logistical coordination.

• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other documents to track performance metrics and provide insights for decision-making.

• Provide support to the catering manager and other team members as needed to contribute to the overall success of the department.

Delivery & Events (As Needed):

• Participate in delivery and setup of tastings and catering orders as required, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.

• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, representing the company professionally and ensuring client satisfaction.

• Oversee the work of catering staff during events to ensure smooth operations.

• Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices to maintain quality and hygiene standards during transportation and setup of catering orders.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality, with a track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of our catering services persuasively.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Computer Proficiency (capable of general troubleshooting (program or internet troubleshooting), familiar with computer shortcuts, skilled in document editing and exporting), familiar with Microsoft Office programs, QuickBooks (training available) or general CRM for sales tracking and reporting.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional delivery assignments.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate client events and business operations.
