As a team, we strive to raise up engineers at all levels through mentorship, training opportunities, and challenging engineering problems that are beneficial to the company and our employees’ career goals.Essential Job Responsibilities:Builds software applications – Follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scriptsAssists in refining software architectures – Collaborates with leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilitiesCommunicates continually with the client and project teams – Explains progress on the development effortOwns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutionsContributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologiesRequired Skills:4-year degree or equivalent work experience1-3 years of experience with design, maintenance and development with SQL / relational databasesExpertise in at least one compiled language (Java, C, C#, etc)Expertise in at least one interpreted language (JavaScript, Python, Powershell, etc)Experience working with REST APIs and/or SOAP APIsSolid understanding of software engineering principles, frameworks and technologiesGreat problem solving and design skills, with demonstrated passion for qualityTakes initiative and is able to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesAbility to communicate effectivelyPreferred Consideration Given For:Experience with React, nodeJS, TypescriptExperience working in an agile development processExperience working with distributed source control systems (GIT)Experience developing AWS or cloud provider technologiesExperience with unit testing (jest, jasmine, etc)
