Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial accountability? We are seeking a motivated Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team in Exton, PA. As a key player in our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and streamlining the collection process while providing exceptional customer service. Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage for this role.
Location: Exton, PA (Hybrid after 6 months of training)
Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $25/hour end of year bonus incentive
Responsibilities:
- Conduct effective and assertive collections outreach to customers with outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate prompt payment and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Utilize excellent communication skills to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for clients during the collections process.
- Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of customers to determine appropriate credit limits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of billing processes and collections procedures.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with collections software.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a significant plus.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in collections or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
