Overview:

Locol Love is continuing to grow, and we are looking for someone to step into the role of managing our Lab activities including Washing, Extraction, and Production of products including cartridges. This role is going to be changing as this department grows, but the person that comes into this role will really need to be self motivated and be able to adhere to deadlines as it will be crucial for getting this department launched on the right footing. It is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of such a critical department for Locol Love, and put your stamp on the company.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards
• Eventually you will supervise laboratory staff, providing guidance and training as needed when the department grows.
• Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures
• Oversee quality control measures to maintain accuracy and precision in testing
• Analyze data and prepare reports for management review
• Ensure adherence to regulations, and other relevant guidelines
• Collaborate with research teams to support ongoing projects
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment
• Solventless Hash and Rosin Production

Experience:

• At least one year of experience working in a lab setting
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a laboratory setting
• Strong knowledge of laboratory practices, techniques, and equipment for cannabis
• Strong knowledge of cannabis genetics in terms of washing and concentrate production
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in a laboratory environment for cannabis in the state of Colorado
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Effective communication skills to interact with staff and management

The main focus for this position at first is to really get the building blocks of the department established and maintain production as we build out the department. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
