In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our visual identity, responsible for designing a wide range of assets across digital and print platforms. From eye-catching labels and packaging to engaging social media content and advertising campaigns, your designs will play a crucial role in captivating our audience and driving brand awareness.

But it's not just about aesthetics – we're looking for someone who can marry creativity with strategy. You'll collaborate closely with our Marketing Director to develop cohesive brand strategies and ensure our messaging resonates with our target market.

This position will be a 60/40 split with design and marketing tasks. So you will not only be communicating with the Marketing Director but also the Sales and Production departments to execute campaigns and specific objectives. In addition, you will communicate directly with store managers to create and/or send over requested physical and digital assets, as well as plan in store events, budtender nights, and hosted events for the general public.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design visually appealing assets for various mediums, including labels, packaging, swag, displays, and digital advertisements
• Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on marketing objectives and messaging
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to inform design and marketing decisions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and platform guidelines
• Analyze campaign metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize future strategies
• Maintain organized workflows and schedules to ensure timely delivery of assets and projects
• Create email campaigns including but not limited to design, content creation, copy-editing, and targeting.
• Plan, manage and execute sponsored or collaborative events.
• Attend events and store visits serving as the face of the company, representing the brand in a positive and professional manner.
• Assist in reaching out to designers and influencers for collaboration.

What You Have:

• Strong proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Suite
• Previous experience in marketing, with a focus on design-driven campaigns
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience planning, managing, and running outside events
• Experience managing and tracking marketing budgets, including invoices
• Huge plus for any photography or videography experience
• Optional: familiarity with ChatGPT and a strategic and responsible mindset concerning generative content.

Scheduling Requirements:

• 3 days per week onsite in Denver location
• 2 days work from home
• Flexibility to attend events in the evening both on weeknights and weekends (up to 6 events per month in busy months)
