As the Associate, Business Development you will be introducing CEO's and CPA firms in various markets to the company. This role works closely with the Sales Directors and other key executives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be part of a high performance team building and managing relationships with potential clients through current leads developed by prospecting, networking, and building a referral pipeline.
Responsibilities
This individual will be the Sales Director’s right hand and will communicate with clients and CPAs on the Director’s behalf
Manage Director’s calendar; schedule client meetings, conference calls, and follow up appointments
Create new business through organized lead qualification and prospecting
Create call plans and track progress in Salesforce
Conduct daily outbound sales calls
Schedule and hold sales appointments
Update Director’s sales pipeline; track proposals through preparation, follow up, and completion; produce weekly activity reports
Prepare marketing materials for presentations and meetings
Coordinate travel arrangements and complete monthly expense reports
Additional tasks and responsibilities
Qualifications
Previous experience in a fast paced sales environment a must
1 years of experience in a fast paced sales support role
Must be proactive; sales minded; a go-getter
Experience updating a CRM (ACT, Salesforce, etc.) software
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products including PowerPoint.
Extremely organized and detail oriented
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Highly motivated, results-oriented with strong skills in presenting, communicating, organizing, multi-tasking and time management
Outstanding communication skills
Dynamic personality with the ability to build amazing relationships all while maintaining a “challenger” type sales approach
A high-performing over-achiever that is driven by constant feedback and investment from leadership to grow personally, professionally and financially
