LMS Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for their developments across the Southeast. This individual will help provide oversight, direction and accountability to project teams developing multifamily projects. They will help lead projects to complete on schedule and on budget. They will help coordinate between design teams, contractors, and operation teams solving problems, facilitating collaboration, and helping to drive progress and execution. The ability to communicate, remain organized, have a curious spirit and a willingness to creatively problem solve all while representing LMS Construction and their values is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily communication with Contractors, Design Team, and Key Players involved in the project.
• Ability to communicate at a high level, show good judgement and think critically to solve problems.
• Coordinate and collaborate with different disciplines both virtually and in person.
• Work with, help manage, and support contractors and vendors to help the team affectively complete the larger project.
• Responsible for information flow on the project facilitating RFIs and Submittals and keeping drawing logs up to date. 
• Help hold subcontractors accountable to their schedule durations by providing real-time feedback on progress and working with them to schedule future actives. 
• Help ensure quality control. Providing and executing quality control checklist.
• Participation with pre-construction and due-diligence efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture or 2 year background in construction, construction management, engineering, project management, or related field
• Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Procore and general computer software
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles 

• Learner’s attitude
