Job Description
Located in Bergen County, our client, a small tax preparation and payroll office is looking for an Administrative Assistant with some knowledge of accounting.
The selected individual will
- Handle e-mails
- Responding to clients and deleting
- Front of office work with visitors and clients
- During Tax season this includes dropping off and picking up paperwork
- Answer phones and direct calls
- Knowledge of payroll
- Able to process payroll
- Complete quarter payroll reports
- Microsoft program knowledge
- Word and Excel
- Migration of software to Firm 360
- Accounting office management
- Client portal software
- General Ledgers
- Process ledgers / data entry
- Assembly and input tax return
- Assist with closing corporate books / business accounts
