We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at Lineage. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the success of our company and to contribute to the growth of our business in the food warehousing industry.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to promote customer retention and loyalty.
* Develop and maintain accurate records of all pricing, sales and activity reports to achieve maximum profit margin.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both parties.
* Ensure a timely collection of accounts receivable.

* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
* Maintain awareness of performance against Key Performance Indicators and provide sales performance updates to Senior Management.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential customers.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
* Partner with the General Manager and facility leadership team to achieve operational efficiencies and continuous improvement targets in the area of sales.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
* 5 years' experience in sales, business development and/or sales management in food warehousing operations or related industry experience.
* Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or like program, or equivalent work experience.
* Experience in SPIN, Miller Heiman, and/or Value Based selling preferred.
* Previous experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management including prospecting, selling and closing new business.
* Ability to gain deep knowledge of the entire suite of company's service offerings and utilize it to maximize sales opportunities during customer solutioning.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and colleagues.
* Ability to lead discussions, make presentations and deliver technical results to non-technical audience.
* Ability to travel up to 25% with limited overnight travel.
* Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
* Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
