Lincoln-Goldfinch Law is Hiring a Nanny Near Austin, TX

Lincoln-Goldfinch Law

Lincoln-Goldfinch Law is looking for a dynamic, high-energy, and experienced nanny to work part time plus for two children (girl, five and non-binary kiddo, ten) in Central Austin near UT campus. Ideal schedule is M-F 2-6 and Saturday 10-5. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, developing creative activities, keeping children safe, and creating a supportive, fun, and positive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take care of and supervise children
  • Plan and facilitate a variety of fun, daily activities. Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and picking up around the house.
  • Guide the children in daily transitions from activity to activity, following the family’s schedule.
  • Explain and implement house rules and provide emotional support to children.
  • Provide guidance, motivation, and support to children.
  • Help children in problem-solving and working through challenges in a kind and respectful manner.
  • Set up the space for activities daily and clean up the space at the end of the day.
  • Proactively communicate with parents and provide updates as needed.
  • Supervise children swimming, engaging in sports, and free-play activities safely.
Qualifications

  • Two years minimum full-time nanny experience.
  • Quality references from 2-3 families for whom you have nannied.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
  • Demonstrated history of working with primary-aged children and facilitating their engagement in age-appropriate activities.
  • Health and safety knowledge to keep children safe.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with children and families.
  • Leadership skills to guide and motivate children.
  • Interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and parents.
  • Proof of COVID vaccination and booster.
  • Family has an extra car for the nanny to use to transport the children, but candidates must have their own reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Compensation
$17 - $20 hourly
