AUSTIN, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) - A lovely and successful entrepreneurial family is seeking a flexible past-paced mature FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY to join their provider team travel and grow with their family for years to come. The family has a newborn who was born in early February and is thriving! The family has a weekday nanny and a Newborn Care Specialist, so candidates should be comfortable working with a team.
The schedule is Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The family is looking for a candidate to work 10-12 hour days. Flexibility is a MUST for this position and candidates should be open to opportunities to work longer days and possibly help during nights occasionally.
The family is looking for someone looking to form a long-term multi-year commitment and join their family. The nanny may feed, bathe, and interact with the baby, as well as assist parents with other duties, such as doing laundry and cleaning related to the child. The nanny may also transport the newborn to doctors appointments. Must have a drivers license and a clean driving record. The family will provide a vehicle for working needs. Mom will be working from home and the nanny should be comfortable supporting mom during this time.
The nanny who is hired may be responsible for bottle feeding and settling the baby through the night.
The candidate will need to be comfortable working occasional overnight shifts and traveling with the family. The perfect candidate is looking for a long-term role of several years and job stability. There are 2 cats in the home and the nanny should be comfortable with cats and have no allergies to pets.
Main Nanny Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate needs to understand discretion, professionalism, have a entreprenurial spirit, and reliability. They are seeking a nanny with emotional maturity, solid experience, and loves caring for infants and children. The family has plans to have multiple children, so the candidate would need to be willing to welcome additional little ones.
Vaccines are required. Benefits include PTO Sick Days possible health insurance. Traveling is required for this position. The candidate must be willing to sign an NDA. Start date is May 1st. Pay is $35-45/hr gross commensurate based on experience.
