Job Description

Our commitment to excellent customer service is what drives us, and we are dedicated to hiring outstanding individuals who align with our goals and mission. We are currently looking for a talented bartender to join our team.

The Bartender provides quality, value-added professional service that exceeds brand standards for beverage service, guest helpfulness, and guest friendliness. He/she prepares cocktails in accordance with standard recipes and serves all liquor, beer, and wine correctly, quickly, and in a hospitable manner.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with Beverage Department Standard Operating Procedures at all times
  • Helps bar back set up bar, which includes unlocking liquor and setting up glassware, ice, and garnish
  • Accepts drink orders from food and beverage servers in proper calling order to keep service bar at optimum level of service for guests
  • Requisitions liquor as needed to maintain par levels
  • Helps bar back with floors, trash, and general sanitation and cleaning during shift and after lounge is closed

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 6 months of serving and bartending experience
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors, and fellow employees
  • Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding beverage service process
  • Must display a professional sense of urgency when communicating and interacting with customers, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds the customer’s wants and needs
  • Must be able to identify opportunities to improve and deliver additional value to customer’s experience by presenting creative solutions and innovative ideas
  • Must be able to actively listen to customers, coworkers, and the public (viewing the situation from the customer’s perspective) and work together to solve problems through effective communication
  • Must be able to recognize and define problems, analyze relevant information, encourage alternative solutions and plans to resolve situations, and seek additional assistance when needed
  • Must be able to provide work “product or service” that is free of errors and exceeds customer expectations
  • Must share the company vision and relate company strategy to daily work
  • Must be able to positively communicate goals
  • Must be able to clearly and consistently inspire associates to achieve the highest standards and results and display decisive and firm leadership when necessary
  • Must be professionally disciplined and respectful
  • Must be able to effectively and promptly deal with team performance issues
  • Must be able to adapt positively to changing situations, handle criticism well, and admit mistakes and make corrections quickly and willingly
