The Customer Service Representative/Scheduler serves as a contact between our Respiratory Therapists and patients by scheduling appointments, managing cancelations, and working closely with the Respiratory Therapists, finding the best solutions and/or alternatives for all involved.

Responsibilities:

• Manage both inbound and outbound phone calls positively and professionally
• Make outbound phone calls to schedule patient appointments
• Coordinate with Respiratory Therapist about schedules, patients, and any changes
• Resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur
• Deletes, corrects, or re-enters patient information in customer accounts and software as deemed necessary

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills
• Carry out oral and written instructions
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Time-management and organizational skills necessary to effectively manage multiple expectations in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and active-listening skills, as well as the ability to prioritize issues and respond accordingly
• Knowledge of scheduling and basic computer skills are preferred
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
