Join the creative team at LIMB as our full-time Print Production Specialist. We are seeking a passionate and seasoned individual with a strong background in printing and a keen eye for detail.

Job Summary:
The Print Production Specialist is responsible for preparing and verifying digital files prior to printing. This includes checking for accuracy, resolution, font and image quality, and ensuring the files are press-ready.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in print production and prepress operations.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of various printing techniques and processes.
• Excellent communication skills with vendor and client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify digital files for accuracy and print-readiness
• Ensure correct resolution, color space, and font quality
• Make necessary adjustments to files using graphic design software
• Collaborate with designers and print production team to troubleshoot any prepress issues
• Experience working in a design environment is preferred
• Read and interpret print specifications for various printing projects and advertisements.
• Conduct press checks and bindery checks to maintain quality standards.
• Color correct images and understand RGB, CMYK, and Pantone color formats.
• Demonstrate competence with printing, and create in-house mock-ups

Design Work

• Assist with editing and resizing existing design pieces with the creative team
• Develop logo suites with various versions
• Prepare files for submission to printer and/or client
