OPERATIONS MANAGER

SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our production teams (construction & fiber) have everything they need at all times. Integrate safety into every aspect of the department, prioritizing fleet maintenance, transporting materials, and organizing so employees always have the right tools for the job. Following procedures and updating records to manage operations and maintain reliable data and accounting effectively.

• Inventory & Materials
• Fleet
• Equipment, Tools & Supplies
• Building Maintenance

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing and managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency of building maintenance, vehicle/fleet, and materials operations.
• Leading and supervising a team of Operations staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to standards and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for maintenance and repair services and negotiating contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of services.
• Share issues in department chats to gather historical information
• Meet with COO daily to discuss issues, clarify & verify solutions/plans
• Manage all purchasing and expenses using the Purchase Orders Form
• Check-in monthly, send generator hours, daily meetings and monthly meetings.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly supervises 5 employees within the Operations department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills required: Inventory/Fleet Management Software; Microsoft Office/G-Suite; Project Management Software
