JOB SUMMARY:

Performs routine quality inspections in accordance with the organizations procedures to assure that products meet high standards of quality and customer specifications.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
  • Independent coordinating, problem solving and prioritizing skills, detail oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to work well with people of varied backgrounds and abilities.
  • Ability to use physical measurement instruments (thermometers, scales, calipers, etc.) after initial training.
  • Possess fundamental understanding of inspection functions and a quality control system along with the necessary documentation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma required. Associate degree or equivalent in a technical area (Biology, Chemistry, etc.) preferred.
  • Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment required. Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and cGMP preferred.
