JOB SUMMARY:

Performs all aspects of maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment, building equipment, office equipment, building and grounds to ensure quality and efficiencies for the organization are met.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides preventive maintenance to maintain efficient equipment operation. Assists in the maintenance and repairs of production equipment
• Provides HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Provides general building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, ground maintenance, general building maintenance, and painting.
• Keeps maintenance log as required.
• Keeps maintenance supervisor advised of equipment spare parts needed.
• Coordinates with department supervisors when machines must be taken offline for maintenance.
• Works on high voltage electrical equipment and wiring to perform repair and installations.
• Oversees contractor work for facility modification and repair.
• Is trained and works in compliance with all plant and departmental standard operating procedures and safety procedures.
• Maintains plant safety systems so that they are operational.
• May assist in maintenance duties at other LHB locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of electronics, electrical services, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC required.
• Strong knowledge of general mechanics and machine operations.
• Knowledge of aerosols and liquid filling preferred.
• Knowledge of high voltage services required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Technical School Graduate (Maintenance Management or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing equipment/building repairs and line set-up.
• Experience with aerosol production a plus.
• Process logic controls/electronic expertise a plus.
• Project management experience a plus.
