Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Consultant to join our team in the material handling industry. As a Sales Development Consultant, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role is a 6-month training program to ensure you are equipped with and have a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and industry-specific knowledge. Upon successful completion of the program you will move into an outside sales position.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and acquire new business opportunities within the material handling industry
  • Conduct market research to identify the needs of potential customers and develop targeted sales strategies to meet their requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Collaborate within the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, and product positioning
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the benefits and features of all LiftOne has to offer
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and promotional activities to generate leads and increase brand awareness
  • Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to expand professional networks and promote our products and services
  • Complete a comprehensive 6-month internal training program to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and industry-specific expertise
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 1-2 years experience preferred in sales or account management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
  • Experience with negotiating and presenting, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • CRM software and other sales tools experience preferred to manage and track sales activities
  • Willingness to undergo a 6-month on-site training program to gain comprehensive knowledge of our products, services, and industry-specific expertise
  • Availability to travel as required to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and industry events
  • Driving is an essential function of this position and a current valid driver's license must be always maintained.

Proof that you create your own economy. Explain how failed sales attempts are not failures but investments in the process. Hold yourself accountable, possessing leadership, motivation and purpose.

The noise level in some work environments is occasionally loud.
