Lifespan Physician Group (LPG), the largest physician organization in Rhode Island and academically affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University has an opening for a board certified or eligible psychiatrist at our Clinica Latina - Unidos en Salud. One of the few programs of its kind, you will focus specifically on the behavioral health needs of our Latinos, Latinas, Hispanics and Latinx patients.Our clinicians and staff are familiar with, and part of, the cultures of our patients, and understand their values and customs. Services are provided in Spanish and English.About the job:
Join 1 other psychiatrist, 3 psychologists
Treat patients aged 18 and older who are experiencing mental health and behavioral health conditions
Flexible patient scheduling options (typically 1 hour for new patients, 30-minute follow ups)
Call is 1x night per month by phone only, and 6 weekends per year at Rhode Island Hospital
Clinical academic appointment to Brown University

About you:
Board certified or eligible in adult psychiatry
Bilingual
Familiarity and competence providing culturally competent mental health care
Strong desire to work with the underserved populations
