Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher's Aide to join our team. As a Teacher's Aide, you will assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and providing support to students. Your role will be crucial in creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for children.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Assist in planning and organizing classroom activities
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs, including those with autism
- Support students in their learning and development, both academically and socially
- Assist with behavior management strategies to promote a positive classroom environment
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
- Assist with record-keeping and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in childcare or education administration is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of students
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes
