Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to join our transportation team. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a commercial driving license and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including vans, motor coaches, and limousines.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive passengers to their destinations in a timely manner
- Follow designated routes and adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring a positive experience
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle
- Collect fares or tickets and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bus or vehicle
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues
- Communicate effectively with passengers and address any concerns or inquiries
- Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with passengers
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
