We are seeking Teacher Assistants to provide direct behavioral intervention to students. As a Teacher Assistant, you'll collaborate with dedicated professionals in a supportive, educational, and clinically focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure student safety.
• Assist in establishing a classroom environment conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors.
• Work with Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups.
• Perform ongoing data collection and record-keeping as directed by Special Education Teachers

Required Clearances:

• FBI Fingerprints (within 1 year)
• Flu Shot
• Driver's License Check
• Fraud Check
• Physical

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Associates Degree or two years of post-secondary education preferred
• Previous experience in special education or behavioral healthcare settings with students displaying severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.
• Completion of The Diana Screen for individuals in roles involving contact with children

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
